Dear Diary, \u201c12 Days of Christmas\u201d: Day 5\/12 \u2013 My Ode to fear<\/span><\/p>\n

In the shadows of our fears, a dance with failure we weave,<\/span><\/p>\n

An intricate bind, a challenge we fail to perceive.<\/span><\/p>\n

A daunting force,both fierce and near,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet within itsgrasp, the seeds of courage appear.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of stumbling on paths untrodden,<\/span><\/p>\n

In hesitation, failure’s call is often sodden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uncertain steps, an uncharted view,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet each stumble births strength anew.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of the unknown, a shroud of doubt,<\/span><\/p>\n

We wallow, chained, our voices a muted shout.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dreams in the shadows, a silent blame,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet within failure, resilience takes its name.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of friends’ triumphs, a distance we maintain,<\/span><\/p>\n

Becoming anti-social, a shield against disdain.<\/span><\/p>\n

A self-inflicted spoof, fear’s cruel jest,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet in unity, courage finds its best.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of sounding less than good, a stifled voice,<\/span><\/p>\n

In silence, the echoes of failure rejoice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear of judgment, a cage of our own,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet in breaking free, true strength is sown.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of lacking trust, a reflection of self,<\/span><\/p>\n

In self-made prisons, potential finds stealth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doubting intellect, willingly we fall,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet in rising, we surpass failure’s call and break free from our prisons.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of what our dreams might achieve,<\/span><\/p>\n

A shame that makes us desperately grieve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thoughts locked away, wild imaginations confined,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet within, innovation is intricately entwined.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fear of uncertainty, life treated as fear,<\/span><\/p>\n

A timid existence we hold dear.<\/span><\/p>\n

But fear not, for within each stumble, a guide,<\/span><\/p>\n

A chance to learn, grow, in shadows to confide.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Embrace the fall, the fumble, the stumble,<\/span><\/p>\n

For in failure’s dance, resilience will not crumble.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even with thehispers of defeat, echoes so discreet,<\/span><\/p>\n

Rise once again, success to sweetly meet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear and failure are constants in life’s grandeur,<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet within, courage finds its tenure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dare to face the shadows, break the tether,<\/span><\/p>\n

For in overcoming fear, we rise altogether with a chuckle.<\/span><\/p>\n

This new week \u2013 let us rise and do it all even though we are afraid.<\/span><\/p>\n
